A compilation done mainly in 1828 containing 269 Indian and other recipes and cures, all numbered and listed in a table of contents, and memoranda regarding two trips to western New York and Maryland. Rogers journeyed to western New York to investigate the title to lands which were part of an inheritance claimed by Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, residents Tobias Miller and Henry M. Rigerts.
